#62 - Sebastian Inlet State Park - Sebastian, FL - November 14 - 17, 2012

Site #46
This is the first time we have camped at Sebastian Inlet State Park, which is hard to believe since it's only about 30 miles from our home. It's a small campground, but nice. The no-see-ums were a bit bothersome, but bug spray helped.

It's a great place for fishing.

I don't who was more excited about this catch...the woman who caught it or the dog :-)!
Flounder was the catch of the day.

Many types of birds make the inlet their home.
The Three Sentinels
This is my good side.

You talking to me?

We saw these juvenile Green Sea Turtles along the bank of the inlet. They were about the size of a dinner plate. They would take a gulp of air and then be gone again for a few minutes. It was very difficult to get a good photo of them. I didn't realize that Green Turtles spent any time inland; I always thought they stayed in the open ocean. It was very cool seeing them.

  1. Wonderful. I can't wait to visit Bowling Rock. That was so neat to see and well documented.
